This notice explains how information submitted through Jacob Coetzer’s professional enquiry forms is handled.
Information requested
The enquiry forms ask for professional identity, organisation, contact details and enough information to understand an opportunity. Only information reasonably necessary to assess and respond to an enquiry should be provided.
Purpose
Information will be used to assess the professional enquiry, determine whether it is relevant to Jacob’s experience and availability, and decide whether to respond. A CV request does not create access to Jacob’s CV.
Enquiries are securely transmitted through the website’s form-delivery provider to Jacob’s designated email address. The provider processes submitted details only to deliver the enquiry.
Confidential information
Do not submit confidential documents, identity documents or sensitive project files through an initial enquiry. If further information is appropriate, a separate secure method should first be agreed.
Retention and access
Routine access is limited to Jacob. Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries will normally be deleted within 90 days. Information connected to an active professional discussion may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for that discussion, contractual steps or legal record-keeping. Enquiry information is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
Security and spam protection
The production workflow uses server-side validation, input sanitisation, rate limiting, a honeypot and privacy-conscious anti-spam controls. No CV is stored on or automatically delivered by this website.
